Floral Hightlights - 2011

This year’s garden hasn’t been as showy as some other years because we really haven’t had a lot of ‘summer’.  Nevertheles, a few flowers have been worth ‘writing home about’.  Here are some pics:

  1. Hank, What a nice surprise to see a post from you pop up today. Trollius is a plant that I've never grown but have often admired; your photo makes me want to seriously consider where I can add it to my garden. -Jean

  2. Thanks so much for the comment, Jean. After a very long absence, it's nice to be back to my gardening blog. Yes, trollius is a faithful perennial in our garden. Great as a cut flower, too.

  3. So nice to see you post again, I thought you had given up on blogging. Beautiful blooms, the white delphs are so pretty with the white lattice backdrop, and it's always nice to see the beautiful Morden Sunrise. :)
